Hello Folks! It looks as if we've joined in very late in the game, but am very glad to have found people like you. My name is Alison, my husband is Matt and we have three young girls, Grace almost 5, Ruby almost 3 and wee Maggie, almost 1. And we are going to do what you just did! And we've no bleedin idea how! We've plenty of time to plan though as the girls are to young to take on the road for such a long time, so we're aiming for 2015, Maggie will be five by then. Almost as I speak we are about to secure our first big step, a vehicle. A 2004 100 series Land Cruiser V8, if it checks out mechanically, it's ours. Excitement!!! Anyway, I hope it's ok with you to keep in touch from time to time so I can pick your brains. hi Caz and family. Many thanks for the map of Oz ,i will use it when we set up our Blog before setting off early next year. I can totally agree with you about some kids being just plain annoying.It seems that as long as the parents are having a good time and not being bothered by their offspring then the kids can do whatever they want even if it is to the detriment of fellow campers Keep up the great Blog and drive safe.

My hubby and I are planning on touring Oz next year for 2 years with our 13 year old son and 3 year old daughter. We are only in the planning stages as we are trying to sell our house (and everything else we own) but would ideally like to leave after Christmas School holidays finish.
